Ecological Crisis

1. Natural resources are finite

2. Capital accumulation is (seems) unending (under capitalism)

3. Production has reached levels at which the natural base is being damaged

4. This will increasingly affect the ability for capital to continue to accumulate

5. Without growth there will be downward pressure on profits & so wages

6. Will this create the conditions for labour to revolt?

* The worst case scenario is the natural base is so damaged (e.g. global warming) that the extinction of life threatens human civilisation & even existence

** The downward pressure on profits is due to insufficient supply; a supply deficient revolution?
