Writeback – the ability for the end-user to enter values into the cube from the spreadsheet; crucial for use in a financial arena

Splashing – to be able to enter values at the aggregate level & have the values allocated to the leaf-level members according to a chosen criteria, e.g. allocate incremental values equally

What-If – the ability of the end-user to do his own analysis by changing values without affecting anyone else

Audit Trial – before committing new values to the cube, an audit trial can show you what values you have changed to ensure you are making the changes you really do want

Graphical Writeback – as a line in a chart gets dragged to a different position so the value in the cube changes
